MAP - Kandyman EP

MAP

The Play

For our next release, meet our favorite Canadian trio, MAP. These guys are insanely talented and have absolutely blown us away with their extensively eclectic catalogue of 2019 unreleased bangers.

The title track, "Kandyman", was discovered as a rough demo first heard on our phone speaker in the Caesar's Palace lobby bar. The vocal hook alone had satisfied our sweet tooth and we knew this was an immediate must sign. The MAP boys cooked up a booty shaking club bouncer packed with high energy percussion and a hypnotic acid lead that unwrap the vibe on any dancefloor.

"Safety Meeting" is nothing short of a B-Side club destroyer. Touting their unquestionable range, MAP takes listeners on an aural exploration with their unrelenting low end, tweeter shattering horns, and insatiable use of lasers. PEW PEW PEW!!!

First up on remix duties, is San Francisco-based Dirtybird artist n808 who transformed "Kandyman" into a dark room wobbly stomper. Using his name sake 808s and impeccable vocal play, n808 flips his track perfectly for peak time club play.

As a personal request from the MAP team, we recruited Hood Politics' own Nutty for the remix of "Safety Meeting". Rounding out the EP perfectly, Nutty brings forth the perfect emotive tech vibe with a complex bass line laden with unique elements of acid and funk.
